The information you need
to make decisions

**"I am a Minister, and that frees me from the burden of judgment.
I have permission to accept everyone for who they are."

Contact:  You can call or E-mail me.
My number is listed on the ABOUT page and again at
  the bottom of this page.

So what do we do from here?
First you need to ready my policy

My policy:
I do not require pre-marriage counseling. (But I offer it)
I do not judge couples who live together and or have children  before marriage.
I do not judge couples who want civil service ceremonies.
I do not jump out of perfectly good airplanes.  :-)
See my statement at the top of this page ** refer to italicized statement above.

Then:

Once we have made contact via phone or  e-mail
I like us to meet and discuss your wedding in person.  Getting married is a such a joyful event, and I firmly believe that you want someone who shares you views about what your wedding is to you, and offers all the enthusiasm and grace required for such a wonderful event.   (Although have been booked over the phone, over e-mail before and on only one hours notice.)
We'll discuss the kind of wedding you want, I get to tell what I can do for you and we get to know each other a little.
Then you and your intended can have a chance to chat about it or we can do the paper work on the spot, this gives you a $50. discount.
I also carry license applications for most counties.

Now here is what you get from me.

I write, or help you write the wedding you have dreamed.
I have a stock pile of several hundred weddings, including unique and custom family vows/vows to children.
Many ceremonies are very faithful Christian weddings, many are very civil, some are quite humorous, I offer Renaissance,
Wiccan, and the great sporting event verbiage as well, Most importantly all my weddings focus on the bride and groom.

I direct your rehearsal and make it a production.
You and I will look over our venue and decide who is entering from where,
when and how.  (Did you know there are more than 5 ways for the groom to get to the minister?)
I answer your questions on etiquette, seating and just about anything else that comes up.
I direct your maids and men, entrance, stance, responsibilities and etiquette and cue every ones entrance, exit and music.
I offer musical insight, and timing guidance.

On the day of your wedding

I direct your ushers and groomsmen
I monitor your guests, and make it clear cell phones and pagers are not welcome
I cue every segment of the processional, music, every segment of the ceremony and recessional
All you need do is smile and say I do.

How will you know me when we meet?  Click here
Ok .. I do try to keep these up dated but good photos of me are so few and far between.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
And I know this is a lot of reading but there is some very important information below.
You need to know that your wedding date with me is not secure until you  make your $150 deposit, however if we have met and discussed your wedding I will call you if someone else inquires about the date you want.

My Price is $550. for April to November and Florida Brides need to call or e-mail for pricing.  Yes I charge more, but I do more.  This is a flat fee and includes our initial meeting, vow writing, consultation with procedure, rehearsal direction and production.  I only charge more if I have to drive more than an hour to and from your wedding location (that would be 45 minutes or more in each direction), if the location requires an over night stay,  if I have to carry my own canoe, or I have to outfit for some thing I'm not ready for; such as a NASA Space suit or other some such article of clothing or equipment not readily barrow-able or provided. There may be other circumstances so this list isn't hard and fast yet. Safe to say $550..is usually the total cost for my service. To easy your wedding day, Balance due payment at the rehearsal.  This save you the hassle on your wedding day.

If you haven't looked at the Minnesota License page I strongly suggest you do so.  The highlight however is your license can purchased from any county not just the one in which you marry.  This is a relatively new rule.  Thank You Maggie !!
here is the link to Hennepin County or click here for a list of all the counties in Minnesota.

You must have your license with you at the time of the wedding.  You aren't legally wed till the license is signed and filed.   The Bride and groom now must sign the New Hennepin county licenses after the wedding long with your witnesses and myself. The document must be mailed within five days of the wedding, I take responsibility for the license after it is signed.   The county will  generally have the recorded, sealed document back to you within four days however June tends to get backed up a bit. You should not try to travel on your married name until you have legally changed your state ID.  You can leave the state or country, but you can not get back in. (Ask Jan - k honey just teasing a wee bit.)

If we, for whatever reason, are having a difficult time finding mutual meeting dates, you can reserve your day by down loading a contract, contract  simply  save as whatever text form you use, or copy and paste the contract into what ever word program you use.  My address is at the bottom of the form.  Send both contracts to me for signing, I will return one to you.

There isn't really much else to tell you.  Other than I can return E-mail during the business day very quickly, some times more quickly that I can return phone calls.   And I generally  return phone calls the same day I receive a message.   I do try to note on my voicemail if I am going to be unavailable for multiple days in a row and here below my numbers.   and if you select a different officient you can still have my expertise.
The Perfectly Choreographed  Wedding Ceremony is almost here.
