Joining the sand
As a symbol of your union we take the sands of your
lives, each grain being an event , a memory, a well executed plan and or a
crushing disappointment of your past. These vases filled with sand
represent your lives before today, I ask you now to fulfill your hearts
desire by blending the sands of your lives together. AS the grains spill
and scatter and mingle among each other so do they unite you today. As
you mix the grains of your past so do build a united future. Just as the
sands have proven stronger through the test of time and nature, so now, do
you face your future - and because you are united so are you stronger.
Just as it is impossible now to separate the grains
of sand that you have just united so will it be impossible to separate the
two of you completely any more.
